Looking for the perfect date night or unique dining experience? One of our favorite spots in Oceanside is The Plot.
We recently celebrated our anniversary by enjoying dinner and dessert there. Everything on the menu is plant-based. They make everything from scratch and source as much as they can from local regenerative farms. They even have their own large garden on-site where the chef integrates these fresh ingredients into the menu.
The Plot is also very focused on sustainability and the team is very intentional about every aspect of the business. This means using less plastic, working with local vendors and practicing total utilization in the kitchen.
Cofounder, Chef Davin Waite is a classically trained sushi chef. He thrives on pushing boundaries with creative uses for ingredients that deliver exciting flavors while minimizing food waste. He also co-owns and oversees culinary operations at Oceanside’s wrench & rodent seabasstropub.
